A handcrafted statement pendant made in the UK, a genuine 30x60mm green aquamarine stone with an almost triangular form, wire-encased in oxidised copper with a woven bail, woven copper strands, and spiral details.

Soft sea green tones wash through this beautiful aquamarine stone, calm, clear, and quietly striking. The genuine stone, measuring 30x60mm, has an almost triangular form that tapers to a gentle point, giving the pendant a naturally elegant silhouette. Encased in raw copper wire treated with liver of sulphur for a rich, dark earthy finish, the bail is woven with fine copper wire, with additional woven copper strands wrapping around it and spiral details worked throughout, the warm copper tones providing a rich contrast to the cool, serene green of the stone.

Design Notes

The aquamarine stone is encased in raw copper wire shaped to follow the stone’s near-triangular form. The bail is woven with fine copper wire, with additional woven strands wrapping around it and spiral details worked throughout the design. The copper is treated with liver of sulphur to force natural oxidisation. Copper will naturally darken further over time and can be buffed with a wire brush to restore its warmth. As each piece is made around a unique stone, no two pendants are ever the same.
