A handcrafted statement pendant made in the UK, a genuine 40x70mm blue flash labradorite stone, wire-encased in oxidised copper with layered woven wire detail down the sides, a woven bail, and a spiral flourish.

Flashes of deep blue and teal shimmer across the surface of this striking labradorite stone, a natural phenomenon known as labradorescence that shifts and changes with every movement and angle of light. The genuine labradorite, measuring 40x70mm, is encased in raw copper wire treated with liver of sulphur for a rich, dark earthy finish. Woven copper wire runs down the sides of the stone in layered detail, with a woven bail at the top and a spiral flourish that adds a final decorative touch, making this one of the most ornate pieces in the collection.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece, not made to order. As a natural stone, every labradorite has its own unique flash and patterning. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Design Notes

The labradorite stone is encased in raw copper wire shaped to follow the stone’s form. Woven copper wire runs down the sides in layered detail, with a woven bail at the top finished with a spiral flourish. The copper is treated with liver of sulphur to force natural oxidisation. Copper will naturally darken further over time and can be buffed with a wire brush to restore its warmth. As each piece is made around a unique stone, no two pendants are ever the same.
