Round Labradorite Copper Wire Wrapped Pendant Necklace

A handcrafted statement pendant made in the UK, a genuine round labradorite stone, wire-encased in oxidised copper with a woven bail, woven copper strands, and a spiral detail. Overall pendant size 30x45mm.

Blue, green, and gold tones shift and shimmer beneath the surface of this beautiful round labradorite stone, that characteristic inner light that makes labradorite so endlessly captivating. The round form gives this pendant a softer, more organic silhouette than the elongated stones in the collection, making it a versatile everyday piece. The genuine stone is encased in raw copper wire treated with liver of sulphur for a rich, dark earthy finish. The bail is woven with fine copper wire, with additional woven copper strands wrapping around it and a spiral detail completing the design, the darkened copper drawing out the luminous depth of the stone beautifully.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece, not made to order. As a natural stone, every labradorite has its own unique flash and patterning. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Design Notes

The round labradorite stone is encased in raw copper wire shaped to follow the stone’s circular form. The bail is woven with fine copper wire, with additional woven strands wrapping around it and a spiral detail completing the design. The copper is treated with liver of sulphur to force natural oxidisation. Copper will naturally darken further over time and can be buffed with a wire brush to restore its warmth. As each piece is made around a unique stone, no two pendants are ever the same.
