A handcrafted statement pendant made in the UK, a mottled pink crackle quartz agate stone, wire-encased in oxidised copper with a woven bail, woven copper strands, and a spiral detail. Overall pendant size 25x60mm.

Soft mottled pinks wash through this beautiful crackle quartz agate stone, the natural fracturing within the quartz catching the light and giving the stone a delicate, almost frosted inner texture. The stone is encased in raw copper wire treated with liver of sulphur for a rich, dark earthy finish, with the warm copper tones providing a striking contrast to the soft pink of the stone. The bail is woven with fine copper wire, with additional woven copper strands wrapping around it and finishing in a spiral detail, adding intricate texture that frames the stone beautifully.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece, not made to order. As a natural stone, every crackle quartz agate has its own unique colour and patterning. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Design Notes

The crackle quartz agate stone is encased in raw copper wire shaped to follow the stone’s form. The bail is woven with fine copper wire, with additional woven strands wrapping around it and finishing in a spiral. The copper is treated with liver of sulphur to force natural oxidisation. Copper will naturally darken further over time and can be buffed with a wire brush to restore its warmth. As each piece is made around a unique stone, no two pendants are ever the same.
