Picture Jasper Copper Wire Wrapped Pendant Necklace

A handcrafted statement pendant made in the UK, a genuine picture jasper stone, wire-encased in oxidised copper with wirework and spirals running down one side. Overall pendant size 40x70mm.

Warm earthy tones of cream, tan, brown, and ochre flow through this beautiful picture jasper stone, the natural patterning that gives picture jasper its name, each stone a unique landscape formed over millions of years. The genuine stone is encased in raw copper wire treated with liver of sulphur for a rich, dark earthy finish. Wirework and spiral details run down one side of the stone, adding decorative texture that echoes the organic, grounded character of the jasper itself, the warm copper tones blending seamlessly with the stone’s earthy palette.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece, not made to order. As a natural stone, every picture jasper has its own unique patterning and landscape. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Design Notes

The picture jasper stone is encased in raw copper wire shaped to follow the stone’s form, with wirework and spiral details running down one side as the key decorative feature. Overall pendant size including wirework is 40x70mm. The copper is treated with liver of sulphur to force natural oxidisation. Copper will naturally darken further over time and can be buffed with a wire brush to restore its warmth. As each piece is made around a unique stone, no two pendants are ever the same.
