A handcrafted statement pendant made in the UKm a genuine 40x75mm apatite stone wrapped in oxidised copper with a woven bail, woven copper strands, multiple spiral details, and a decorative swish of copper balls. The most ornate piece in the collection.

Vivid blue and teal tones radiate from this striking apatite stone, a gemstone known for its intense, almost electric colour that catches the light beautifully. The genuine apatite, measuring 40x75mm, is encased in raw copper wire treated with liver of sulphur for a rich, dark earthy finish. The bail is woven with fine copper wire, with additional woven copper strands wrapping around it, multiple spiral details adding flourishes throughout, and a decorative swish of copper balls completing the design, layers of intricate handwork that make this the most elaborate pendant in the collection.

Design Notes

The apatite stone is encased in raw copper wire shaped to follow the stone’s form. The bail is woven with fine copper wire, with additional woven strands wrapping around it. Multiple spiral details are worked throughout the design, and a decorative swish of copper balls adds a final flourish. The copper is treated with liver of sulphur to force natural oxidisation. Copper will naturally darken further over time and can be buffed with a wire brush to restore its warmth. As each piece is made around a unique stone, no two pendants are ever the same.
